Hurro everyone :) I'm back from my vacation (been back for a while already actually) but I just wanted to show everyone the things I bought. I think I'll do most reviews separately, since I don't want to make this the longest post ever. I'll probably just mention a few of the products that didn't make much of an impression of me.
(FYI I buy products based on reviews and how pretty the packaging looks so trust me, I've done my fair share of research before going to Hong Kong)
So, mostly I went to HK to repurchase items that I've bought before or products that I've used before and liked. So the things include My Beauty Diary Masks (the two in the picture I've never seen in Canada before: Black Rose and Caviar), Tsubaki Shampoo/Conditioner (didn't take a picture but you can see a picture of it in my other post), and Polaroid film. Pretty much everything in this photo other than the masks/film/eyelash curlers were presents.
Oh yeah, I bought shoes one day and they started cutting into my ankles so I had to buy bandaids ._.
Here we have the Biore Pore pack. I honestly think it's pretty good but it doesn't take enough out (if you get what I mean) I guess that just means I have super clogged up pores or something (i'm sad to say). The Neutrogena HydroBoost Water Gel is a repurchase since I've posted about it before as well.
Oh, Dollywink. I can't even imagine how much of my money you have taken already.
And yup. No Hong Kong trip is complete without purchasing Laneige products. I was almost out of the cleanser and the Sleeping Pack was highly recommended to me. If anyone wants more detailed explanations of any of the products, just comment and I'll do a short review.

More of My Beauty Diary
To start the post off, more pictures of sunrises/sunsets. This one was taken about half an hour ago so it was today's sunset. (It's already like pitch black outside. Proves to show how fast the day ends during the winter season)
And my My Beauty Diary Collection. I bought a pack of 16 today. The box says it's the 2011 All-in-One pack. I can't actually find a picture of the box on the internet though. I can only find the "Alice in Wonderland" set boxes but not the one that I got today. (Mine is pink and has a mailbox on the front)
The 16th mask that it came with was an "bonus" and it is called the Snail Mask.
It says that: My Beauty Diary Snail mask is 2 step Autumn Repair Pack with Snail repair cream made of snail extract & Broccoli extract. Snail extract is the most popular extract used in Korea skincare products now. Suitable for all skin types, especially for dry and sensitive skin, helps to firm, nourish and regenerates skin.
That itself already sounds kind of weird to me to be honest. "Snail extract"? ..... but I'm going to give it a try. Mine also is the 2-step Autumn Repair Pack meaning that it also comes with a cream to put on after the mask. Its supposed to help "lock in" the moisturizing effect of the mask. If it's any good, I'll make a post about it.... maybe.

Earl Grey Tea & Macaron Mask Review
Here we go, guys, another review! (wow, I'm really on a roll with this whole blogging thing). This time, I'll be reviewing another My Beauty Diary mask: Earl Grey Tea & Macaron. The Mask description is "illuminating & clarifying the face in a 20-minute treatment". Let's see how well it goes, shall we?
For those who don't know, Macarons are a french pastry/confection. It is a layer of buttermilk/jam that is sandwiched between two cookies.
Honestly, I'm not a huge fan of the food. It tastes fine but I wouldn't eat it again unless I had to. The first time I've ever tried one was (coincidentally) in Paris. I've always thought they were one of the cutest foods in the world (I still think that) and I knew I had to try one.
So moving onto the mask. I was curious about the smell of this mask as the name suggests "macaron". Macarons (or Macaroons, doesn't really matter which) come in many flavours and tastes so having one scent to sum it all up? That part seemed interesting to me. But upon opening the packaging, all I could smell was Earl Grey tea (which is great. I love Earl Grey). This mask could be called Milk Earl Grey Tea and I would have believed it.
(ahaha to be honest, I'm still doing the mask at the moment. I'm just waiting another 10-15 minutes for it to finish up ;D *grabs Popteen magazine and reads*)
Well, I think my face has gotten a bit brighter. Not too noticeable though. Like all other My Beauty Diary Masks, it moisturized my face. Compared to the Chocolate Truffle mask I used two nights ago, this one moisturized less but this one seems more appealing to me because of the smell. If any of you guys like Earl Grey tea, this mask if a must-try :) Sorry if I missed out any key points about the mask. If you have any questions which I did not already answer (which is probably a lot) feel free to comment and I'll answer to the best of my ability.

Chocolate Truffle Mask Review
I thought I'd have a change of pace and I'm going to try something new: a review!!
The item that gets this honour is My Beauty Diary's Chocolate Truffle Sheet Mask. The mask description says "Moisturizing & softening the face in a 20-minute treatment"
I got this pack of masks yesterday at my local asian supermarket. It was on sale from $14.99CAD to $12.99 (yes, I am pretty aware that this stuff is pricey). I normally have pretty good experiences with My Beauty Diary masks and I have pretty good experiences with chocolate masks so I thought this would be the perfect combination.
Now, to start things off, I'm not that big of a chocolate person. Tell me to eat it and I'm pretty iffy but the smell. Oh, the smell is a totally different thing. I love the smell of chocolate and I was surprised to see that this didn't really have that big of a chocolate smell (or any, now that you mention it). After taking it out of the packaging, I'm still pretty disappointed that My Beauty Diary has yet to change back to their original sheets. I don't know if they're trying to conserve paper or whatnot but I liked how the mask quality was originally. This new one is too thin and rips very easily :( but speaking of the mask. This was a pretty decent mask. It moisturized, doing its exact purpose. But this mask just didn't seem too impressive to me. I mean, most of My Beauty Diary's masks do that for me. All in all....
Pros: moisturizes
Cons: flimsy sheet material (This will probably be the con for EVERY My Beauty Diary Mask by the way unless they're going to change it back to the way it was before)
Also yesterday when I went shopping for this mask, I bought the My Beauty Diary Earl Grey Tea & Macaron Sheet Mask. I'll probably make another review of this mask sometime soon. So look forward to it.

Oh, I forgot to add. I remember using the My Beauty Diary Chocolate Sheet Mask (is that what it's called?) and it was super amazing. Mind you, this was a really long time ago but I'm pretty sure I was totally shocked at how amazing it was. That would be my recommendation to you.
