Rohto Z! Contact Review

Time for more reviews whoo. I was actually going to wait for another product (which is shipping in the mail) and do the review together but I couldn't wait so I'll thought I'd just separate them.

So a few weeks ago, I decided to look for eyedrops. I wear contacts pretty much every day and usually when I'm out very late and I didn't get a chance to take out my contacts, they start to feel really itchy and kind of bug me. I wouldn't say they get dry but ....hm. So once again, I went to the closest Asian mall (because I've heard of many good reviews of Rohto) and found this for $22.99CAD

Just a warning to everyone beforehand: Make sure that the eyedrops you're buying is suited to your needs (needs being that you wear contacts and plan to use eyedrops while they're in) A lot of drops are not designed to accommodate eyes that are wearing contacts and can end up damaging your cons. Also, the instructions for this say 1-2 drops in your eyes 5-6 times a day. Don't over-do it no matter how badly you want to. Eyes are not replaceable (or at least I don't think they are)

Before I start rambling like I always do in my reviews, I'll just give my ratings straight up here:
I honestly don't think I have any complaints whatsoever with this product. Maybe the fact that I've never used eyedrops before kind of changes how I judge this product though. This product helps tired eyes, especially for those who are constantly facing a computer

When you put this product in your eye, I'm not going to lie, it stings a little bit. But it's like a good kind of sting. It feels really minty and refreshed (kind of like when you first start to chew a piece of mint-flavoured gum). Yeah its quite weird describing a feeling on your eyes as minty but there really is no better explanation. You'd describe it the exact same way after using this product

^^^^
convenient little bottle can be stored anywhere (I transfer it from bag-to-bag)

Regardless, I really like using this product and NOT just because it has really cute packaging. I will definitely be trying more of Rohto's eyedrops! Look forward to more reviews. If there are any questions, I'm more than happy to answer them

Isurugi Mio Cosplay (399AnimeShop) Review

haha I don't really know how to start with this but I guess I'll just go with whatever.
So I've already decided a very long time ago (like 2 years? a year and a half?) that I wanted to do a Mio cosplay. For those that don't know who I'm talking about:
She's this tiny girl from an anime called MM! and I dunno. I've always liked her character. So I bought a wig, and never bothered to buy a costume. Not too sure why. So finally on January 15th of this year, I ordered online from 399AnimeShop. I had tried to look up reviews and stuff but there weren't that many and I was kinda iffy about buying from here but it was the cheapest (84.99? I vaguely remember getting it for 75 though) and the picture looked the most similar to the original. So I bought: http://www.399animeshop.com/cosplay/mm/mio-isurugi-cosplay-costume-mm-school-uniform-female.php

Not bad right?
But clearly I did my research terribly because I read a few reviews about how 399cosplayshop steals images from other websites and I was like ....well crap. But what's done is done. (I actually don't think that is true, now that I've got my costume)
I'm not sure how use to ordering online people are but usually when you buy clothes/things off of ebay, it takes like a week to two weeks. MAYBE a month if the seller was being stupid.

So mid-to-end of February comes along and I was like "What they hey. Why isn't my costume here yet" and I decide to email the shop. I say something like "Oh, I ordered on this date and I was just wondering if my costume was going to be shipped out soon or not" Then the guy replies, "Oh, our manufacturer is on break so your costume isn't ready. It'll be done around March"

With that vague message in mind, I reply asking "Done as in, shipped, or done as in made and then shipped to you? And also, what date in March?" (This email never gets replied fyi)

But finally my costume comes on March 22nd and here:

It came with a shirt/skirt/white dress shirt (which I didn't bother taking a picture of), and a bow.

Overall I would give 399cosplayshop: 6/10

The costume itself is perfect haha. The colours match up to exactly what I thought I'd be getting. The material is pretty good too.

Customer service (which reviews have said to be pretty good) I thought was pretty bad. The guy took forever to answer my emails and he never even replied to my other questions

I guess I'm not too familiar with shipping but are clothes supposed to take a bit over 2 months? I order clothing off of ebay and it usually comes within a week or two.

Anyway, long post, but that was my review of this costume + shop. Let me know if you have any other questions (Y)

PS. I plan on wearing this to an anime convention this summer (yeah I don't normally do cosplay for any other reason)

PPS. goodness me. I just realized that this was the 50th post. haha. Happy 50th Post to me
